Shouldn't it be called a "Stud"? :) (from an anonymous user, later turned out to be Myko I think - Lar)
- Common wiki usage seems to be to have it be called "stub". While I'm talking about stubs, I'm not sure I support the changes to the stub that were made to add the additional links and selection criteria, because some of the links go into Wikipedia where you can't really do anything... do we need multiple stub categories, for example? I guess I'm not yet clear on how much of the meta content (templates, help and so forth) should be copied over, or referenced, or created a fresh ++Lar 00:45, 26 Jun 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time) PS, consider getting a userid and signing your work...
- Done. Yeah I know it's called a stub, I just thought it would be a little funny to call it a "stud" on a Lego wiki because of the similar names. :) --Myko 04:36, 26 Jun 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)
- Well, I am going to ditch the "choose a different stub type" part, it seems ill advised at this point of the growth of htis project to put cycles into multiple types of stubs... near as I can tell the main wikipedia doesn't even have them, the link to choose them is broken there (diff the stub template to see what I mean, it will be gone shortly) As to calling it a Stud... we COULD! It would be funny... Do we want to go for fun or serious? ++Lar 11:53, 26 Jun 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)
