what is this? Is it a candidate for deletion?

In my pidgin Italian, it looked like self promotion. --ALittleSlow 19:15, 31 May 2012 (CDT)
Good call, I had brief look at it the other day and it made no sense to me. Of course, I thought it might be part of the various Italian pages that were created for some sort of alternate language version. Maybe we should delete all of that stuff and not try to make BW a multi-language resource? Tedward 10:07, 1 June 2012 (CDT)
It was the "vote for [url]" that did it for me. I just now ran it through a translater. Looks like the author may have copied a Wikipedia template then added his spam at the bottom. In that sense, it may have been vandalism of a legit work in progress. Probably not, though. To your second point, I wouldn't want to limit BW to English only. That would be sad, in my view. The various Italian pages should be deleted if there's no useful content, though, just like English pages. I'm happy to review them if you don't want to struggle with the language barrier. If need be, I'll look into how to properly set up BW for internationalization. --ALittleSlow 10:44, 1 June 2012 (CDT)
That would be great if you want to go through them. My main concern is we have so few "staff" that supporting the English version is going to be a challenge for a while let alone trying to expand to other languages. Since English is the de facto international language of the 21st century I am unwilling to (and frankly unable as an embarrassed mono-lingual) to spend my time supporting such an effort. If a team can be put together and there is space on the server I have no objection to doing it but getting the main version healthy and expanded has to be the priority. I agree. I will look through them, though. Is there an easy way to list/search for them? --ALittleSlow 16:19, 1 June 2012 (CDT)
Not that I know of. I found several via Special:WantedPages. Tedward 16:27, 1 June 2012 (CDT)
