I think we have a ways to go in figuring out how best to organise theme entries but this entry makes some great progress forward.

I had tried for some logical subtopics in my Sea Monkeys entry. I like the use of "notable sets" in this entry, it's a good idea! For fan created themes, perhaps "notable MOCs" as a parallel grouping? ++Lar 11:04, 26 Jun 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)

I'm glad you liked it so far. I based it on the Sea Monkeys page. I think "notable MOCs" is a very good idea. --Myko 12:07, 26 Jun 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)

The name

Did the name Futuron appear in the 1987 US catalog? Because I know the name Futuron didn't show up in Swedish catalogues until the release of, I think, Blacktron II. --Myko 19 July 2005 08:11 (Eastern Daylight Time)

Since when is Futuron associated with M-Tron? SpaceCaptain 20:22, 1 August 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)

beats me. Run the diffs to see who put the "allies include" statement on the page and ask them in their talk page, maybe? Unless it was me, in which case I blame Tim. ++Lar 22:43, 1 August 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)
You know I do actually have a vague memory of seeing M-Tron and futuron in the same picture. Yes, I do believe the F monorail was still kicking in catalogues alongside M-Tron (at least in Australia). So you can blame me, but only if I'm right. Tim 04:31, 2 August 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time) (who was a Spacer TFOL around that era)
I did that allies bit, and both Futuron and M-Tron sets are in the 1990 catalogue. Although they're not on the same picture. --Myko 07:03, 2 August 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)
Hi Myko, do you have a 1991 catalogue handy? Could you see if there is a picture of M-Tron with the monorail in the background? All my old catalogues are back in Australia so I can't check myself. Cheers Tim 07:55, 2 August 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)
The monorail isn't pictured in the 1991 catalogue at all. There is a M-Tron/monorail pic in one of the building idea books, though. --Myko 15:26, 2 August 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)
Was M-Tron attacking or just benignly present? Our first theme related conundrum! Where's Gary Istok when you need him? LOL (I vote that they are neither allies nor adversaries) ++Lar 15:39, 2 August 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)
I thought M-Tron was the "rescue guys" that rescued and repaired ships and vehicles in distress. They all have lots of tools and the Mega Core Magnetizer has those fire extinguishers. Also the catalogues make mention of Blacktron II stealing M-Tron's computers and the Space Police helping them out. --Myko 05:16, 3 August 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)
Cheers Myko. That's probably where I saw it as I have that Ideas Book. Tim 16:17, 2 August 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)
