DID YOU KNOW?
The original Rainbow Warrior was a ship used by Greenpeace to protest seal hunting and whaling. Wikipedia:Rainbow Warrior

Rainbow Warrior is a a derogatory phrase used by many AFOLs to describe the multi-coloured creations of young children as opposed to the more consistently coloured models built by adults.

The origins of this phrase are unknown but the use of the phrase is common when discussing MOCs on such sites as Flickr and MOCpages. The latter being especially known (fairly or unfairly) as a haven for Rainbow Warriors and HALO kiddies.

There is an element of elitism in the use of the phrase that could be construed as disrespecting the creativity of young children for whom realistic or consistent use of colour is not an issue. Even adults have been known to enjoy just building fun shapes without the tryanny of reality forcing colour choices.
