Rank 0 (Apples)

1. Add Echo to your Friend List and send him an Apple. He will send back the Apple Pie Blueprint.

2. Build an Apple Pie and send to Farmer John. He will send back the Crimson Apple Blueprint.

3. Build the Crimson Apple Masterpiece and tadah! You are now Rank 1. OPTIONAL:Insert Echo has not been copied and pasted or The avatar has not been filtered as captions to change your avatar and accomplish some really cool glitches!

Pretty easy, eh! Not to worry, this is just to warm you up. Getting Rank 2 is a bit more effort...

Getting Red Bricks Quickly

NOTE: There's a new way to get red, blue and yellow bricks quickly. Read the Lego Club Magazine Badge post.

Starting out on MyLego Network can be hard because of the need for so many red bricks. If you only have one Lego Tree on your home page, there's only so much you can do in a day. And buying more Lego Tree's is expensive (51 red bricks!) so adding trees takes a long time too.

The trick is use the Gallery Module Rank 2. It displays any Gallery photos you have uploaded, and grows 15 red bricks per day! This is different than the Gallery Module that you start with by default. That one doesn't grow red bricks, it just displays your Gallery photos.

Not only does the Gallery Module Rank 2 grow bricks faster than the Lego Tree Module, it is also much cheaper at a cost of only 5 red bricks to build. Stuff your home page with as many Galleries as you can fit and you'll have an endless supply of red bricks!

So where do you get the blueprint you ask? You need to make friends with an obscure Networker called F.Stop Clikzgerald and send him an apple. He will reply with the Gallery Module Rank 2 blueprint.

Of course the key to making the Gallery work is to have photos uploaded to your Lego account. If you have never done this before, don't worry, be happy. It's quite easy to do. First you need photos of any Lego contraptions you have made. The picture cannot include yourself or any people or any competing products to Lego, such as K'Nex, PlayMobile, whatever.

To upload, go to Lego Club Cool Creations and click the upload link on the left. I'm not sure what the naming rules are, but for me it only worked if my creation name was all one word. It takes a couple hours for someone to check out your creation before you can display on your page. Once they're checked out, the Gallery Modules are ready to grow!

HINT: It takes a few hours (or a day) for someone at Lego to check your photo. Don't wait to put the Gallery on your page. Even though it may appear blank, red bricks are accumulating. When your photos are finally ready, you will get a big pile of bricks to start!

The cost for the Gallery blueprint is 1 red brick (1 apple) plus 5 red bricks to make each Gallery. That's a lot better way to get started than paying 51 red bricks for a Lego Tree Module!!

Modules to Rank 3 Getting to Rank 3 Hints Posted by BoneSoup868 1 comments Labels: Gaining Rank 3 Getting Red Bricks, Part II

NOTE: There's a new way to get red, blue and yellow bricks quickly. Read the Lego Club Magazine Badge post.

On my previous post Getting Red Bricks Quickly, I described the Gallery Module Rank 2. It grows 15 red bricks per day and only costs 5 bricks to build. That's great – but wait... There's an even better module, the Factory Module Rank 2, that grows an astonishing 50 red bricks per day!!! That's 2 bricks an hour! I really, really need four of these on my home page.

Of course, there's a hitch. The blueprint (on Milmano's page) costs 8 blue bricks and blue bricks don't come easy. You'll need to be Rank 2 or have the LEGO Club magazine Badge, Rank 1 and have the LEGO Club Magazine Module, Rank 2 or chasing after the Water Mill Module before you'll see any blue bricks. But as soon as you get 8, getting that blueprint should be top priority!

While you're waiting for those blue bricks, start designing with Lego Digital Designer 2.0. Download it from the Lego Factory page, and put together several fancy creations. Upload your creation to Lego's website directly from the LDD application. There's a button along the top toolbar for doing this. The uploaded models go through a similar process as Lego Gallery photos. Someone at Lego has to check your model before it can be displayed in your Factory Modules.

Once that's done, cha-ching! 50 bricks a day.

If you know other ways to get bricks quickly, please let me know!

There is 1 LEGO Universe Networker called Professor Brickkeeper. He can get you 2 Modules and 1 Badge from his page. There are 3 networkers of the same theme: Captain Jack Knife (Pirates theme), Numb Chuck (Ninjas theme), and Friendly Felix (Music theme). They recently came out. You will need the LEGO Universe Creation Lab Badge from Professor Brickkeeper to befriend them. Walkthrough:

  1. Befriend Professor Brickkeeper
  2. Get the Plastic Inductor Module blueprint for 10 Red LEGO Bricks at his page.
  3. Build the module. It grows Plastic Pellets.
  4. Once you have 50 Plastic Pellets, trade them with Professor Brickkkeeeper for the LEGO Universe Creation Lab Badge blueprint.
  5. Harvest 75 Plastic Pellets and build the badge.

Note: You do not have to get the Platsic Inductor Module. You can also get the Electro Pellet Inductor Module by entering a code in the VIP code spot on the LEGO Universe website. The code is 1-5-9-2-4. Use the key below to decode that.

B5A2T

             1L9S4<code>

It grows 10 Plastic Pellets per day, plus 1 for every 5 clicks.

Walkthrough 2 (Incomplete):

  1. Befriend Captain Jack Knife
  2. Befriend Numb Chuck
  3. Befriend Friendly Felix
  4. Send Friendly Felix a "Could you give me a hint?" message. He will reply with the Worn Tuning Fork.
  5. Mail it to Prof Brickkeeper. He'll tell you to paticipate and get a model approved for the LU challenge "Build a bit of My LEGO Network!". A day later, you'll get it approved and go to the "download" section and get your Retuned Tuning Fork Blueprint!
  6. Trade Numb Chuck 50 Plastic Pellets for a Koi Sushi Blueprint.
  7. Trade Numb Chuck 75 Plastic Pellets for a Kata Sparbot Blueprint.
  8. Build them! You will need 20 Kata Sparbots.
  9. Trade Captain Jack Knife 50 Plastic Pellets for the Canon Scrap Blueprint.
  10. Trade Captain Jack Knife 75 Plastic Pellets for the Sea Monster Bait Blueprint.
  11. Build them! You will need 20 Sea Monster Bait.
  12. Trade Captain Jack Knife 20 Sea Monster Bait for a Heliotropic Handle.
  13. Trade Numb Chuck 20 Kata Sparbots for a Endless Ohm.
  14. Build the Retuned Tuning Fork and trade it on Friendly Felix's page for a Friendly Felix's Concert Module Blueprint.
  15. Win one for a chance to win a LEGO Universe Logo, LEGO Universe Video, LEGO Universe Skin, Canon Scrap, Koi Sushi, or Plastic Pellets.

There are also 2 mystery networkers named Simon and Jamie. They have been up for a very, long, long time. No one knows what they're for or what theme they are. They might be related to the Brickmaster Badge. This the walkthrough.

Walkthrough:

  1. Befriend Simon.
  2. Befriend Jamie
  3. Check your mail.
  4. Jamie's email says Missing Copy Jamie (Creator). No one knows why. They might be unfinished networkers.
  5. Simon's email says Missing Copy Simon (Creator). No one knows why. They might be unfinished networkers.

Note: If you look at the videos section on creator.lego.com, you may see the names Simon and Jamie in the first two videos. They are Lego designers. Simon and Jamie may be the two networkers of the same name. Or someone may have learned to make a fake networker.

There are also 4 new badges called the LEGO Insider Badge, the LEGO Creativity Badge, the Brickmaster Badge, and the LEGO World Event Badge. The 4th one requires you to enter a code in Echo's Code Module. The code MUST NOT BE LEAKED. If the codes show, then make sure they are hidden.

Glitches

So far, there has only been 2 glitches ever been possible to accomplish: Echo's Avatar Glitch, which makes your avatar look like Echo's head, and the Invisible Avatar Glitch, which makes your avatar look transparent. Users who do either one are sent a message in their Mailbox by Dead Letter Postman, warning them to not do it again or their account will be deleted.

Echo has not been copied and pasted.
The avatar has not been filtered.

Bugs

  • Often, your gallery creations may be swapped with someone else's.
