I suggest a page on using LDD. LEGO's own help pages are quite spartan, and not yet updated to 1.4, so we could be a central resource. I have to run, but here are two tricky points I got over today:
1. You have to use the Preferences menu (or Mac) or Windows-equivalent thingy to uncheck "Use Starter Sets" if you want to be able to build with more than one "brickset" of parts. Otherwise, as soon as you pick one brickset, all the others disappear, which is very confusing.
2. In order to rotate a part, you have to hit the arrow keys while the part is still clinging to the mouse (i.e., picked up and not yet put down). They do absolutely nothing for the selected part if it's already been placed. This was not obvious to me.

- Done. I created a main article for LDD and a LDD usage notes article with the above 2 items. I credited Joe Stout because that's who I think the above anonymous user is, but if I guessed wrong, please fix it! I'll post to LUGNET inviting further contributions ++Lar 19:45, August 25, 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)
